This ranch is located 18 miles south of Ennis, Montana along the Madison River, just 40 miles south of Yellowstone National Park.  It has two spring creeks with several private, developed fishing ponds on them.  This is a working cattle ranch that has had great stewardship and pride of ownership from the family that has owned it for the past 50 plus years.  The ranch consists of approximately 4,400 acres of which 3,377 acres are deeded with the balance being state and BLM leases.  The ranch is known for the reputable Angus cattle and quarter horses that it has raised.  The land varies from irrigated and sub irrigated river bottom meadows to irrigated and dry land benches that are used for hay production and grazing.  A two mile landing strip could be built on the bench north of the headquarters.  The Dry Fly River Ranch is a great place to fish!!  Breathtaking, panoramic views, hunting, horseback riding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or just to set back and relax under the Big Sky of Montana.
